These are three jigs I composed in 1996 and were first aired on the CD “ The Smoky
Chimney “. The first “Out Of The Mist “ describes a morning just past dawn during the recording of the album “ The Smoky Chimney “ when failed to locate my flock of hens because of the fog coming off the Knockmealdown mountains.
The second comes from the sounds of the bells in Lsmore, Co. Waterford
The third gets its name from the beautiful blanket of yellow that is furze in full bloom around where I lived in Waterford.
